Privacy First: Dragon Apps are designed with your privacy as a top priority. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data. Everything stays on your device or in your Apple iCloud account under your control.

This Privacy Policy explains how James Maine ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile applications, including:
Our Apps are designed to operate primarily on your device, with your data stored locally or synced through your Apple iCloud account. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal information.
Information Storage and Processing
Local Device Storage
The Apps store all configuration and operational data locally on your iOS device:

Important: All data remains exclusively on your device unless you enable iCloud Sync (see below). We do not have access to any of this information.
Apple iCloud Synchronization (Optional)
Some Apps offer optional iCloud synchronization to sync your settings and configurations across your Apple devices. When enabled:
- ✓ Data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account
- ✓ Sync happens between devices signed into the same Apple ID
- ✓ We do not have access to data stored in your iCloud
- ✓ Apple cannot read your iCloud Keychain data
- ✓ You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in app settings
Your Control
You have full control over iCloud synchronization:
- iCloud Sync is optional and can be enabled/disabled in settings
- When disabled, all data remains only on your local device
- You can clear synced data by disabling iCloud Sync and removing the app from other devices
Third-Party Services
Our Apps may connect to various third-party services. We do not control these services and recommend reviewing their privacy policies.
AI Services (Dragon SSH)
When using AI-assisted features, certain information is sent to AI service providers:
Data sent to AI services (Google Gemini / Apple Intelligence):
- Your natural language requests and questions
- Server operating system and shell type (e.g., "Linux, Ubuntu, Bash")
- Recent command output for context (up to 3000 characters)
- Conversation history within the session
Data NEVER sent to AI services:
- ✗ SSH passwords
- ✗ SSH private keys
- ✗ Server hostnames or IP addresses
- ✗ API keys or authentication tokens
- ✗ Your username or personal information

Your Self-Hosted Servers
The Apps connect directly to servers you configure:
- SSH servers (Dragon SSH)
- Radarr, Sonarr, SabNZB servers (Dragon Media Manager)
These connections are made directly from your device. We have no access to your servers, their data, or the communications between your device and servers.
The Movie Database (TMDB)
Dragon Media Manager uses TMDB for movie and TV show information:
- Used to display trending content and media artwork
- No personal data is shared with TMDB
- Subject to TMDB's Privacy Policy
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to:
- ✗ Personal identification information
- ✗ Usage analytics or statistics
- ✗ Crash reports or diagnostics
- ✗ Your server credentials or API keys
- ✗ Commands you execute on servers
- ✗ Content from your media servers
- ✗ Location data
- ✗ Device identifiers for tracking
- ✗ Advertising identifiers
- ✗ Contacts or calendar data
Network and Permissions
Local Network Access
The Apps may request local network access permission to communicate with servers on your home or local network. This is used solely to connect to servers you explicitly configure.
Internet Access
Internet access is required to:
- Connect to remote servers you configure
- Use AI-assisted features (when enabled)
- Fetch media information from TMDB
- Sync data via iCloud (when enabled)
Data Security
We implement security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption: All sensitive credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain with hardware-backed encryption
- Biometric Protection: Optional Face ID/Touch ID protection for accessing credentials
- Secure Transmission: We recommend using SSH and HTTPS for all server connections
- No Remote Storage: We do not store your data on any servers we control
Your Responsibility: While we implement security measures within the app, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your device passcode and Apple ID secure
- Using strong passwords and SSH keys
- Securing your server configurations
- Keeping backup files in secure locations
Your Rights and Choices
Access and Control
You have full control over your data:
- View: Access all stored data within the app settings
- Edit: Modify any stored credentials or configurations
- Delete: Remove individual items or clear all data from the app
- Export: Export your data for backup (where available)
Data Deletion
To delete all data stored by the Apps:
- Use the "Clear All Data" option in app settings, or
- Uninstall the app from your device
- If iCloud Sync was enabled, also disable iCloud for the app or sign out of iCloud to remove synced data
iCloud Sync Control
You can enable or disable iCloud Sync at any time in the app settings. Disabling sync will stop future synchronization but may not immediately delete data already synced to other devices.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
International Users
Our Apps are available worldwide. By using the Apps, you understand that:
- Data stored locally remains on your device in your location
- iCloud data is processed according to Apple's data processing practices
- AI service data is processed according to the respective provider's practices
- Direct server connections are between your device and your configured servers
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy
- For significant changes, we may provide notice within the Apps
- Your continued use of the Apps after changes constitutes acceptance
We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, since we do not collect, sell, or share personal information, these rights are generally not applicable to our Apps.
European Privacy Rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, most GDPR obligations do not apply. Your data remains under your control on your device and in your Apple iCloud account.
